Awards are always great fun to deliver design and technology to. There is hardly anything better than seeing a worthy winner come up on stage and receive their prize in a truly unforgettable moment.

We do Awards and award ceremonies in many different sizes and shapes. It can be a journalism award where the winner receives their prize via link from the other side of the world or twenty or so awards to be awarded in front of thousands of employees at Tele2 Arena.

Regardless of size, we are careful about the confidentiality of the winner's envelopes and shoot off jingles and confetti with precise fingertip sensitivity. Your Award is in safe hands with us.

Our Services for Awards

These are the departments that are usually involved when we do Awards and prize giving:

Sound Technology

The sound department supplies sound systems for all types of Awards. It can be two discreet speaker tops on stands in an office somewhere or a full-scale PA system hanging from the ceiling of an arena. The sound department also supplies wireless mics, mosquitos and headsets for both award presenters and winners. And of course all other sound technology needed for an Award.

Lighting Technology

The lighting department designs, builds and runs lighting rigs for awards ceremonies and awards. They supply confetti and pyrotechnics to celebrate the winners and follow-up spotlights that follow the winners with light as they walk through the audience to the stage to receive their award.

Video technology

The Video department supplies large screens with razor-sharp images perfect for the Awards. In addition to monitors, they supply image mixers, media servers, control computers, clickers and everything else required to make a professional image run at the Awards. They also supply camera productions and steadicams that are involved in filming the winners in the audience.

Decor & Scenography

The decor department builds stages and scenographies for Awards. They make stages with gold and glitter, red carpets and large backdrops with velvet fabrics. They also make podiums, stage tongues and carpet strips that run through the seating perfect for the winners to walk their Walk Of Fame on.

Carpentry

Does your Award need a design element that our decor department doesn't have on the shelf? No problem. Our carpentry department produces custom-made decor for all different Awards and prize ceremonies. It can be a logo in Styrofoam or wood for the stage and entrance, custom-built podiums or photo environments. Contact us to see what we can come up with for your project!

Print

Print is a common order for Awards and prize ceremonies. It often involves company logos as cut-out decals for lecterns and podiums. It can also be different types of printed cloths for stages and environments or specially printed photo walls. The print department also makes badge walls, foil for floors and walls and window foils.

Project management

Our project managers are used to Awards and prize ceremonies and are used to handling the confidentiality of nominations and winners that must be kept secret until just the right moment. At EDGE you get a project manager who coordinates the delivery from all our departments and you get ONE point of contact and sounding board from idea to implementation. The project manager ensures that your visions are realized while you have full control over all costs throughout the process.

Visualization

Visualizing your project with drawings and 3D sketches is a very effective way to get an idea of the end result even before the first truck has left our warehouse. We are proud to say that we draw what we deliver as our 3D department makes incredibly realistic renderings of our upcoming projects and solutions.

Graphic Production

In addition to our image solutions for awards, we also produce material both before and after the event. We produce jingles, bumpers and intros for screens of various types and our graphic designers have good knowledge of which file formats and settings work best on different types of screens. After the event, we also help with cutting and editing recorded video material from camera productions.
