Expressens Partiledardebatt 2022
Ahead of the 2022 election, we were commissioned by our client Bonnier News to develop and deliver a design and a complete technical solution for Expressens Partiledardebatt, which was broadcast live from the venue Strawberry Fields at Quality Hotel Strawberry Arena.Our technical solution consisted of TV lighting for the entire studio, a sound technology solution for live broadcast, and a camera production with a crane.
In the scenography, we based ourselves on round shapes where the party leaders stood at their respective podiums in a semicircle around the debate moderators Viktor Barth-Kron and Helena Gissén. Behind the party leaders, a wall was built of alternating backlit white-lacquered wooden boards and an LED screen that displayed digital graphics with the respective party's logo. To tie the design together, a large floor foil was also made over the entire studio floor.

Our delivery
To this project we delivered:SoundThe audio department delivered a complete audio solution with wireless microphones and audio mixing for live broadcast.
LightThe lighting department delivered a TV lighting setup throughout the studio through a combination of moving front lights and soft lighting from LED beds. The lighting department also installed a lot of integrated lighting in the set design.
VideoThe Video department delivered and produced a camera production with pan/tilt cameras, studio cameras and a crane camera. They also delivered eight vertical LED screens, one for each party, as well as image control and playout.
CarpentryThe carpentry shop custom-built the entire set with integrated video and lighting.
PrintThe print department did an advanced foiling on the studio floor.
