KPMG celebrates 100 years at Waterfront and Avicii Arena

In early September 2023, commissioned by PS Occasion, we delivered technology and design for KPMG's 100th anniversary – a conference at Waterfront and an awards dinner and party at Avicii Arena.

At Waterfront, we built a set design with a high-resolution LED screen interspersed with custom-made frames with integrated LED lighting. We also supplemented the venue with sound, lighting, video and camera, plus technical crew.

At Avicii Arena, we hung a lighting rig with over 150 moving fixtures, strobes and blinders. Below the rig, four rear-projected seven-metre projection screens and two additional screens on the sides provided camera support.

Below the technical rig, we built a 400 sqm multi-level carpeted stage deck with stairs featuring recessed LED lighting connecting the levels. Artists included Isaac and the Soul Company, Nova Becc and Molly Sandén.

Our delivery

For this project we delivered:

  • Sound

    At Waterfront, the venue's audio system was supplemented with sound mixers, wireless microphones and our own audio crew. At Avicii Arena, a complete audio solution was delivered with PA system, front-of-house mix, monitor mix, wireless microphones, in-ear systems and live band equipment for Isaac and the Soul Company, Nova Becc and Molly Sandén.   • Light

    At Waterfront, custom-made LED light frames for the set design – mounted between the LED screens, on the sides of the stage and suspended above – plus wireless Helios LED sticks from Astera and Clay Paky Xtylos fixtures. At Avicii Arena, ambient lighting for the entire arena and stage lighting with over 150 fixtures, including our own Edgetron fixtures creating a luminous outline for the stage levels and stairs.   • Video & LED

    At Waterfront, the venue's video solution was supplemented with four vertical LED screens on stage, a Watchout media server, presentation technology and a complete camera solution. At Avicii Arena, a complete video solution with four vertical 7 m projection screens behind the stage and two additional side screens for camera support, projected by 20,000 ANSI lumen Epson laser projectors and controlled from a Watchout media server.   • Decor & Set Design

    Stages, fabrics and carpeting for both the Waterfront and Avicii Arena events. At Avicii, a stage platform of over 400 sqm on three levels was constructed – one of the largest stage builds we have done in the arena.   • Carpentry

    Custom-built entrance portals in mirrored glass and LED lighting welcomed guests at the pre-party at Berns Salonger the evening before the main event. Overnight, the portals were moved and erected at Waterfront and then at Avicii Arena. Additional deliverables included custom photo walls, staircases and cladding for the main stage at Avicii.
